XDD1 Diaphragm Pumps
XDD1 membraanpompen zijn compacte en efficiënte pompen, gebruikt voor het ondersteunen van kleine samengestelde turbomoleculaire pompen in schone, hoge vacuümtoepassingen, en ook ontworpen om vrijstaande tafelunits te zijn. Een typische uiteindelijke druk van beter dan 5 x 10-8 mbar kan worden bereikt wanneer een XDD1 wordt gebruikt om een kleine turbomoleculaire pomp te ondersteunen. De XDD1 pompen zijn bedoeld voor gebruik in niet-agressieve, veilige toepassingsgebieden.
De 24 V versie is ontworpen om een compleet pomppakket te bieden en kan worden gebruikt met de Edwards Turbo en Instrument Controller. De DC-motor werkt op 24V via een 15-pins DIN-connector. Door de juiste modus te selecteren kan de pompsnelheid door de gebruiker worden geregeld om variabele pompsnelheid of maximale pompsnelheid te bieden. De pomp is compact en efficiënt. De Mk3 24V versie kan nu door de gebruiker worden ingesteld om te draaien op een maximale snelheid van 1,8 m3h-1 bij 2400 tpm.
Onder normale omstandigheden is de XDD1 vrijwel onderhoudsvrij, de levensduur van de membranen en kleppen is typisch > 10.000 bedrijfsuren, afhankelijk van de toepassing.

The XDD1 Mk2 is the second generation of the XDD1. It is the mains driven version offering a wide voltage supply range for worldwide operation.
